A downloadable mod

A replacement for the regurgitate ultra, this mod changes Robot's active to suck in weapons from a distance and eat them, much like normal pickups.  As a side effect it also disables the ability to eat your currently held weapon.

Is this broken? I couldn't seem to get it to work. Maybe I'm confused. Is this just a replacement ultra or is it a replacement for robot's active?
